“ Love this breakfast place. Their food is wonderful, the service is great, and the atmosphere is perfect. I haven't had a bad time yet. Within walking distance to downtown Torrington and great food, what more could you ask for? The Eggs Benedict is my favorite and the home fries here are some of the best in the area. The staff is really friendly and there are plenty of food choices. ”
“ I’ve been to this restaurant twice. I’ll be coming back many more times. Have you tried the waffles? If not get down to the “Nutmeg grill”., and enjoy a wonderful breakfast. The wait staff are also very accommodating . 5 stars Dee ”
“ Great little place. Looks small on the outside but it does a lot with its space inside, and the window seated area is a charming place to eat. Each time I’ve been here the food has come out quick and been delicious, and Tammy is one of the nicest ladies you’ll ever meet when she comes to greet you. Nothing but good things to say about the Nutmeg Grille! ”
“ Breakfast with a friend. They open early and serve through lunchtime. Service was excellent, as was the omelet I had (my friend had a large bowl of oatmeal, with bacon on the side). Spacious, fast service and food preparation, generous servings. Very clean, a number of tables and booths. Will be going back. ”
“ Fast service and great food. Definitely recommend the this restaurant. ”
“ YES!!! THE WAFFLES!!! Neat little diner...went on a slow day and I feel like I'm cheating on my beloved Waffle House, but good lord the waffles!!!! Sweet waitstaff, good parking...sausage links and tea all good...so many things to try ..will definitely be back!!!! ”
“ Really enjoyed a quick breakfast here. Spotless and cozy with very friendly folks making me feel welcome on a cold day. It was my first visit and was well worth navigating the weird Torrington traffic circle to find it. Very well priced: I had an omelet which was delicious and the coffee was a real brew, not the watered down stuff that passes for coffee in other places: and they kept my cup full which was much appreciated.. ”
“ A local treasure for breakfast, or lunch ...Rick’s is a quaint spot on lower E.Main with plenty of seating, and free parking. Tammy will greet you with a smile, and the wait time for your meal is always short. ”
